“We stayed at Hôtel La Plage in Port Saint Louis and overall had a pleasant and practical stopover. The room itself is a little tired and could benefit from an update, but it was very clean and the bedding was comfortable, which made for a good night’s rest. It was also well equipped with thoughtful amenities such as body lotion, shampoo and conditioner, and a coffee machine in the room—small details that were much appreciated after a day of cycling. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which made the stay very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with a generous buffet and plenty of choice to start the day well. The hotel also provided secure, locked storage for our bikes, which is a big plus for cyclists. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s not a fancy hotel, but it is quiet, comfortable, and well run, and we would still recommend it for a stop in the area.”
